Throttle Body Mod Saves Fuel, Gives Power.
I think I've tried everything to save money on gas. I've had some real successes along the way too-like an 84 Ford Tempo I took from 18.6 to 108.3 miles per gallon. On Gas fumes...
If I can do that in my dad's driveway with a pipe wrench and a pair of pliers, do you think Detroit...?
But that's a battle that every fuel economy researcher faces every time they try something new. The control systems are engineered to maintain a certain level of fuel consumption, no matter your efforts to make your engine more efficient.
Plugs, plug wires, high energy ignition-even premium fuels-they all lead to very short-lived gains. You may get a benefit for a short period, but the computer always negates your efforts (and the expense!).
Pretty frustrating, actually.
The same can be said about HHO, except worse. You see, the ECU (Engine Control Unit) uses the oxygen content of the exhaust to meter the air/fuel ratio. When you have more Oxygen, it dumps more fuel, regardless of how well the engine runs. It is programmed to have a certain amount of pollutants, no matter what!
In my research, trying to figure out a way to defeat this programming-LEGALLY-I stumbled on something. A rumor, a testimony here and there, and I began doing some testing on a new principle. What I found was nothing short of amazing.
What if I could make your car burn more of the fuel it is being fed? WITHOUT adding any chemicals or changing any sensors or "remapping" your ECU?
I can.
With the help of friends (One actually) I have developed a method of changing a little part called the "Throttle Body" in such a way that it causes the fuel to burn more efficiently-REGARDLESS of what the ECU says. My method causes a little pulse in the pressure wave inside your intake, literally causing the fuel to vaporize completely.
More vaporization, a better burn. More complete burn, less oxygen in the tailpipe. Less oxygen in the tailpipe, and the ECU shortens the pulse. The shorter the pulse, the less fuel you use.
All under the control of the ECU.
The results?
My 2001 Land Rover went from 210 a tank to over 500. A 2001 Excursion gained 74%. A 97 Suburban gained 91.4%. A 2001 Dodge Durango is now going three weeks on the same gas that used to last her a week. And it'll burn rubber for over 400 feet (don't ask me how I know!).
The problem comes in with the year models affected. It seems that after 2002, the ECU's are resetting the fuel consumption soon after the client vehicle achieves some benefit.
Just like with HHO. We get a gain for a short period and the ECU gradually (or quickly!) resets itself to KEEP DELIVERING FUEL AT THE OLD RATE OF CONSUMPTION.
It can not get better,
It can only get worse.
But this modification works on every car (Pre-2002) to increase the power of the burn. You can always feel the power. Just after 2002, your ECU needs to be reset every tank or the mileage gains won't last.
I don't know about you guys, but this reminds me of the case against the tobacco companies. You remember, the one they lost when it was revealed they were in the "Nicotine Delivery Device" business? What if Detroit... and the EPA... and the FTC... and the oil companies...?
What if global corporate interests have joined together in a mutual benefit society to rape, pillage and plunder the pocketbooks of every human on the planet with a car? Meanwhile allowing the children of the most populous cities to become poisoned by the very air they breathe.
Look at the national Asthma statistics in children for a real eye-opener. Then compare that to the consumption of fuel. On the EPA website (Energy Efficiency Division) they tell us "Fuel economy is at its lowest pint in history." This, despite the legislation that was to guarantee us 50mpg STANDARD by 2000.
But then, it's all about the money, isn't it? Until their children and their parents are the ones dying...
Not for me.
To let you know, GM (Government Motors-through a colleague of mine) has offered me in the high eight figures for this technology.
Should I sell it to them? I'd rather sell it to you for $250. I think I'll sleep better at night.

Laugh! I nearly did. I cannot believe this brazen attempt to defraud people. This mod apparently works only on pre 2002 models because after that satage the ECU realises you are trying to save fuel and just adds more. What a complete load of garbage.
GM Holden spent over a million dollars here in Australia to make a last minute modification to the transmission so the vehicle's economy would improve by 0.1 litres per 100km driven. If a manufacturer is going to these costs and lengths to improve fuel economy, why then sabotage that with some secret code that is designed to defeat any savings achieved.
If it wasn't for the fact that some fools will be deceived by this it would be funny! I also like the bit that HHO Gadgetman was offered an eight figure sum, but turned it down - how altruistic of him. He's turned his back on HHO - I'm shocked! What about all that information he was giving before - the 'proof' that HHO was the goods? You mean all that was a scam? I'm shocked! |

Well Marc, I'm glad you got a laugh out that as I was wondering if anyone would notice what all he was saying here, as I was hoping someone would remember about what I said about my 2003 GMC. But Marc, I would have not thought you would have given it so much credibility, though. As I was just showing you that Gadgetman is on his own with His statements here and He is no longer any friend of mine as you can see that he has set his way against me...as instead of with me as you can see his attempt here, right? Honestly, 250mph using nothing but a <300HP V8 truck and HHO?
What were Bugatti thinking, spending millions of dollars on developement of the Veyron, they should have just contacted MrCarbJB!
Hmm, maybe Bugatti didn't perform the necassary prayer?

And you must have forgotten about laying rubber at 90 mph when I shifted that automatic 350 into 3 rd at 6500 rpm, with my whimpy no torque having short stroked 337, with a single 4 bbl. Quadra-jet. You didn't seem to think that wasn't that unbelievable, did you?

There's lots of reasons for McJesusCarb's nonsense. My favourite hypothesis at the moment is that he can't face the idea that he got sucked in by some stupid pseudoscience and has to defend his mistake to the death- or have to admit he's either wrong or simply made it all up.
Besides that, real life is boring. Some folks who are abject, chronic failures have a deep need to look important, to be seen as an insider. Though absent education, some failures want to appear to know something that educated people don't. It (unsurprisingly) demonstrates that these devices do not work, and when tested objectively, the manufacturers claim the objective tests are wrong!
It is scam, all the way.
Apart from the true believers of course - they are so *beep* crazy they will make up any nonsense to make it seem real ... to them.
They need the rest of us to believe, too. Not because they want to change the world - though they probably rationalise it this way - but because they need their delusions to be believed for themselves. |

BTMO, the True Believers are indeed completely delusional. A few innocents do get caught out by preponderance, though. Some folks without good critical thinking skills reckon that because there's 500 HHO HHO HHO vids on YT that there's something to it.
Ever notice how few of the HHO experimenters fail to include a flashback suppressor? BOOM, baby.  Pseudoscience can be hazardous to your health in a big way...

I suppose if the push-start truck is slipstreaming behind the race car, you wouldn't need as much power...? |
